We propose an immersion in the heritage legacy of Llerena, one of the best Historical and Artistic Sites of Extremadura, which will be joined by its famous artisan chocolate and conventual sweets.
The activity will begin with a visit by a local guide on the imposing architectural legacy of Llerena, with an important presence of an excellent Mudejar art that shows the power of what was the former headquarters of the Order of Santiago and the Holy Inquisition. It will be a tour through its historic center to understand its history and discover its impressive religious and civil heritage, as well as the link of the town with Francisco de Zurbarán, Spanish painter of universal projection who established his workshop in this town, being able to observe today an important painting of his in the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Granada.
After the visit and for dessert there will be a tasting of the food of the gods, chocolate, explained by a local master chocolatier, and all accompanied by the exquisite conventual sweets of Santa Clara along with an exquisite semi-sweet wine of the region, a divine gift for your palate.
